Good bye Summer and Hello Fall

So Rayne Couture has created one good bye outfit for summer–which is a free group gift. She has also offered two delightful fall ensembles to her customers. She has made each outfit in an array of colors for residents to enjoy. I have to say seeing these outfits side by side makes me a little excited for jackets and scarves. I feel ready to cast the summer aside and welcome another season in my life.

The first picture is of the trench coat, which will surely keep you warm with the gusting fall winds. Rayne couture offers this trench in a plethora of colors to choose from. It’s available in smoke, passion, fawn, electric, cherry, and apple. I’m rocking the cherry. Surely you will find a color that matches your needs and style. You can find this wonderful trench on September 25th at the Rayne Couture main store.

Next, I’m wearing the swan song of dresses from Rayne Couture. This lovely number is called Lola and is also available in three colors. Residents can choose from pink, blue, and purple. This dress can be found at the main store as a group gift. There’s no better way to say good bye summer and hello fall than this short sexy number. I’m sporting the purple (with a name like violet….do you blame me 🙂 ). Expect to see this shimmering group gift in the near future. This was a bit of a sneak peak.

Finally, we have the shelter cape. Fall brings about those hot and cold moments. You may need a sweater one minute, but a tank the next. This cape and dress combo will do the trick. The dress has stripes, while the cape remains a solid color. It’s available in smoke, scarlet, forest, and fawn. I’m wearing the fawn. It’s available September 25th at the main store. Also N21 opened a few days ago. Buzzeri has the wonderful eyes called Serenity. I absolutely adore them. I’ve been meaning to change my eyes for awhile. So if you’re in need of a change, check out N21. I’ll provide the link below in the credits.

Bringing Sexy Back

Sometimes  you just have to let your hair down and wear something a bit scandalous. Erratic never disappoints. At the latest round of Collabor88, I found this sexy lingerie, which I couldn’t pass up. Even though you can’t see the back, the panties offer this peak a boo opening. It’s very alluring. I absolutely love it!

Lately, I’ve wanted to take some cheeky pictures. Maybe it’s the new skin or a new found bravery, but whatever it is…. I am definitely having fun being a bit naughty. I think many find it freeing to express their “bad girl” side within the safe walls of second life. I know that I sure do.

There were so many staple pieces at this month’s latest round. I just couldn’t get enough of it. I have to apologize for my gushing love for the beautiful goth dress to sexy fun lingerie–to a few fun Halloween pieces. What can I say? I love this time of year and Collabor88 has inspired me not only to be festive, but also a bit sexy.

I hope you find some events around the grid that inspire your holiday spirit…..or maybe your wild side. Whatever you do with your fashion, make sure to always be you. It’s important to always have that sense of self–even on the grid. You should definitely bring a friend, maybe a few drinks, and some good music. Shopping is always more fun with a bit of company by your side.

Fall is Upon Us

Okay, okay, it’s not the right month for Halloween, but it’s not my fault Collabor88 has cool things out already–and I’m okay with that. I always look forward to shopping at events for Halloween, even if it’s a little early. It helps me to feel a bit festive seeing everything the designers have created.

Since seeing everything at this month’s latest and greatest Collabor88, I’m ready for cooler temperatures and fitted coats. All of the black and orange around the grid makes me excited for scary movies and blankets. I can’t wait to see the leaves finally turn yellow, orange, and brown–in all worlds.

There is just something so magical about fall. I remember one year walking down the road and seeing the wet leaves in the street. I felt the cool wind whip through my hair. Those leaves would soon be grazed by the shoes of children with the wind making their cheeks cool to the touch. Trick or treaters would be running up towards my door in the most ghoulish costumes that money could buy–which made me feel nostalgic for my own Halloween memories.

But then the doors to Collabor88 open up, and I feel like a kid again. I see all of the Halloween inspired outfits and decor. I am immediately happy with the designers and the seasons changing. This month was just exceptional. I must have bought out the place.

In the photo above, I mixed and matched pieces from two different designers. Foxes had this great hat, which I couldn’t pass up. ISON created this sexy hauntingly beautiful black dress and jacket. This outfit will be one of my staples this season.  You can find it at this month’s Collabor88. I hope these outfits remind you of some time childhood memories!

Dance In The Dark

So I have a bit of an obsession with Lady Gaga, because I love dance music and all things a bit different. If you notice the title, it is indeed one of her songs. I squealed in glee, when I heard about a Lady Gaga inspired event.

There’s an event called Inspiration, which uses an inspiration for clothes, head pieces, and shoes–and probably a few other things I forgot to mention here. This month’s theme is ….you guessed it Lady Gaga. I have listened to her music for a long time, so I am thrilled that this month’s theme is all things Gaga. This is also a new event on the grid.

Pink Rayne is one of the vendors participating in this month’s theme. She has this very avant garde dress, which is perfect for something a little more fashion forward. It’s available at the Inspiration Event, which starts September 10th. This outfit is also exclusive. It comes in red (featured in the above photo), black, and white.  I’ll also provide a landmark below with the credits.

I think it’s only appropriate to quote Lady Gaga in regards to avant garde fashion. She had this to say, “I’m really free spirited about love and sexuality, which I think is apparent in my music and even the visuals–which are all very androgynous. But the minute you say something about who you are, people think you’re just playing the ‘edgy card’ and that’s not what I want people to think of me as. I want them to think fashion, pop, culture, avant garde, and fearless–the girl that brought the straight boys into the gay club.” I think being fearless and taking chances with fashion–while being who you are is so important. Lady Gaga is an inspiration to being different and embracing difference–rather than fearing it.

We have a lot to learn from one another in this world. I’ll try to learn from others, while trying to be fearless in everything that I do. Oh Lady Gaga, I will dance to your music for a long time. Let’s all be her for a day and shop at the Inspiration Event!

A Time For Gowns

I’ve been away from second life for awhile. I’ve taken a vacation and recharged my batters. But I’m back now!! It feels good to be back. I’ve missed taking picture, blogging, and talking to all of my lovelies. I can’t wait for the change of seasons and all that it brings–coats, scarfs, and rain boots.

And I am still talking about Collabor88. I bought the place out. I love birthday events like C88. I had my own in my real life, so I have a bias for those with a birthday in September–or close to it. So with my birthday, labor day, and my vacation, I’ve been a little busy. But I’m back and ready to work!

There are some amazing events coming up and new releases–like the male mesh body for slink. There’s also Halloween, which is just around the corner…..and The Arcade Gacha. So many fun things….so little time. I came back just in time to do a little bit of shopping.

Halloween has also made its presence known across the grid. It all makes me so happy to see the autumn decor and pumpkins. I know that a spooky house is just around the corner. I can’t wait to decorate for the season and make my house a bit spooky–and magical.

I started to get so excited about my favorite ghoulish day, so I had to wear something a little dark today. Of course this came from the Collabor88 birthday–as promised. You may see a few outfits from this completely fabulous event, because I’m in love with it. Even though the event is over, many of the items can be found at the store.

Edited to add…. Because the season is about to change, I decided to update my look a bit. A new skin…a new me!! Sometimes you just need a bit of change.
