Designers and residents have come together to create a fundraiser inworld for the victims of the shooting in Orlando. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to those effected by this tragedy. I hope that residents can open their hearts to this cause and stop by this event. It’s for a really good cause.
So many of the designers, photographers, and other talented residents have come together donating their time, talents, and wares for this event. It really does warm my heart to know that people have come together for this cause.
Residents have also auctioned off various things. When you teleport in, there’s a board with various people offering wonderful things–pictures, clothes, and early access to events. If you click on their picture, it will give you a notecard describing what each resident is offering. Then, you bid by clicking and paying. If you’re the highest bid on July 12th, you get whatever is offered in the notecard.
I went to bid on things and bought a few really cute items. I purchased the tail by CX, nail polish from alaskametro, and body glitter from Izzie’s. All of these items are featured in the picture above. There are some cute things available, if you’re not into auctions. Or you can go and donate to the cause.
So don’t wait….donate.
