Whew, what a week… Instead of Christmas shopping for loved ones, I was met with a few set backs. Having health issues is never easy, especially around the holidays. As a result, I was having a difficult time getting into the holiday spirit. I tried to mask my own feelings by putting on a happy face–but that doesn’t always work. I found this quote and I immediately gave myself permission to just let my feelings roll through me like a wave. I’m better for it. I started to feel….dare I say it….jolly. In the end, I took a picture capturing what Christmas is to me–the satisfaction of doing something kind for the people who love and care for me–and feeling tired after all that wrapping.
