I’ve been busy inworld and in real life. So I haven’t been able to blog in the last week or so. I finally got a minute to go shopping. I visited one of my favorite events. However, before I go into all the shopping details, I want to talk a little bit about this quote.
I chose this quote by Maya Angelou, because it’s a good way to live life. Lately, I’ve had some ups and downs. Life has been this gigantic roller coaster. I wish that things were perfect, but they’re not–such is life really. I struggle with going with the flow. I’ve never been one to roll with the punches. It’s good to read quotes like this as a reminder that we’re all trying to survive–the best way we know how.
Despite those ups and downs, I got some really good news a little while ago. I’ve been accepted to blog for hair fair. It’s an event that I look forward to every year. There are a ton of designers who create hair for a good cause. The money goes to wigs for kids. You can feel good about your purchase and know that a portion of the proceeds go to children. What’s better than feeling cute and helping someone? Nothing..that’s what!
