I found this quote, while lamenting about my time off. I couldn’t have said it better. Sometimes people require quiet and silence from everything around them. I am no exception. I took time to enjoy the sound of crickets, hear ocean waves, sleep, and eat really good food. I let myself give into doing absolutely nothing. I feel more relaxed than I have been in quite some time. I recharged my batteries and I’m ready to face the world again–kind of.
Let me explain. A few weeks ago, someone on plurk talked about how their blog changed, when they were going through things in rl. Their blogs became short and to the point. I thought it was good advice. Many people use sl to escape, work, socialize, be creative, and so many other reasons. I don’t want to disrupt that peace any more. I’d rather remain mute or get to the point rather quickly. Maybe this will be a permanent change with my blog or maybe it will change over time. But for right now, I shall get to the point and discuss events.
Now that being said, lets talk about my outfit in the above photo. My hair, flower crown, dress, and bracelets came from this month’s round at Collabor88. This month is their birthday celebration. It’s one of my favorite events. You will find bright colors, which reminded me of the mod trend in the 60’s. Everything is colorful and bright. I was very happy with this round, since all of those colors tend to lift me up, when I’m down. I hope that the colorful round at C88 lifts you up too.
