I wanted to do this really little blog post for spring. I’ve been spending time with loved ones today, so that’s why this is a bit shorter than usual. I want to wish everyone a safe and Happy Easter! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my weekend. It was filled with love and care. The best thing we can do is spend time with the people that we love.

Okay, now into my outfit. My blouse and skirt come from Eliavah. It’s available at Kustom9. It’s absolutely adorable and goes really nicely with these cute ears. Speaking of….my ears are by S&P. Nope, I didn’t quit. I actually met to write this blog awhile ago. I’ve had a few issues with second life crashing on me and my power has not been great this past week. I actually lost power, trying to take this picture. So seeing it done, I’m truly happy. Hopefully my luck gets a bit better with my next photo :P.

There are a lot of events in this photo, featured above. So lets begin. My dress, hair, and shoes are all from collabor88. My gorgeous dress is by Ison, which I paired with a pair of shoes by Pure Poison. And my hair is by Opale. My bed, bookshelf, and mirror come from Ariskea. The speaker in the background is by mishmish, and the picture of a person outlined is by Fancy Decor, all of these items are available from Collabor88. The curtains, flower frame, cabinet, lamp, and tray with a grapefruit, and book on the table are all available at Uber and it’s by Dust Bunny. I just love decor from Dust Bunny. I always seem to end up buying it. My vanity is from Access and it’s by Build works Decor. The cake is from an event called Spring Flair 2–and from Ariskea. The chair, bunny, rug, stool, and pink vase of flowers all come from Kalopsia, which are available at Fameshed. The tray in the background is by granola, and you can also find this item at Fameshed. The strawberries, and the bag are also available at Fameshed. Whew, I know there’s a lot of new products in this photo. I have bought quite a bit of furniture lately inworld. The quote above is a wonderful reminder that things don’t always last forever. There’s always change in life. Winter comes and goes. There’s the hope of new life and new beginnings in spring. No matter what hardship a person goes through, there’s always solace in change. And for me, I welcome spring, and change. I’m inviting the warm air of spring to grace my sim. It’s time to bring flowers into the world and let go of the cold.

Before I go, I want to make a quick note. I meant to make this blog post earlier, but I’ve been dealing with power outages, and storms. It’s part of the reason why this post is late. I’ve also had some issues with second life.. like most people lately. I’m hoping no further issues come along. Crossing my fingers……..

One of my favorite events is kinky. I haven’t done a blog post about this event in awhile so I felt it was time. I really love the lingerie by Ricielli, which is available at kinky. I adore their items and I usually end up buying them. I always feel sexy in them. So if you like this piece, please visit this event. Also, Foxy released this hair at their mainstore. I know this post is a bit short. I have been taking pictures all over my land before I close it down, so there may be a few more short posts just like this one. Apocalypse Of The Heart

In my last post, I didn’t write very much. I’ve been a little bit sick in my real life and I’ve been having to sort of take one day at a time. I have to say though.. I do feel a lot better than a few days ago. Sometimes meds can just make a person feel really sick. Enough about me though, lets talk about this back drop.

This backdrop and scene represents exactly how I feel sometimes. Everything is in shambles. All the light in the world turns black and bleak. It becomes this apocalypse of nothingness of the heart. There’s this metaphorical death, when time seems to pass and things change. It can be really sad at times. I also linked a song with a very powerful message of strength.. so when you think that everything is in shambles, just remember you are not alone in the world, and you are much stronger than you think. Just hold on for another day.

It may seem odd to have balloons and confetti, but I have a good reason for the pity party. Sometimes you have to drown in the emotion and feel everything, before you can start to heal. It becomes a pity party. BUT, I think it’s important to let your friends, family, etc pull you out of the sad party of one, giving you a bit of air to breathe. So if you feel the need to wallow, do it. Just remember, there’s more than sadness in all worlds and let people pull you out of the sadness. In my own heartbreak over the years, I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve gone through a few lessons too. Yet, I always find the joy in life, eventually.

The thing with an apocalypse is that you can start over. With every death, there is a new beginning–or at least that’s according to my tarot cards. Don’t drown in your sorrow for too long, you may never know what awaits you in the future if you do. I feel the need to end on a light note, because I like a good ending. So you will just have to see a much happier post next time.
