It feels like ..I have been away forever. I’ve spent a bit of time in real life, getting things a little more organized. As summer quickly approaches, I find myself planning fun activities. After the last few weeks, I need a bit of fun. That feeling of necessary fun has definitely influenced my photos as of late.

Summer is my favorite time of year. I always seem a bit happier. It definitely influences my pictures in second life. The summer months have always meant time with friends and loved ones. It’s also when I take a breather from the world around me and indulge on the best parts of life. For me, it means being outside more. It means parties, food, drinks, and laughter–and definitely making memories.

So I was thrilled to see that Cuca Designs made these two wonderful poses for Pose Fair. The sponge is included with the pose and the phone is also included with the male pose. This wonderful backdrop is by IIlluzion It does have a limited amount of time, so you will have to hurry if you want to pick up these poses. They’re fun and flirty–a bit cheeky. They will be available at the Pose Fair until the 25th–the poses and backdrop.  To help me cool off, Eliavah made this wonderful top for Kustom9. It really is an adorable shirt. You can pair it with a skirt, pants, or shorts. There’s so many options, and the textures are beautiful as always. The shorts are from Miss Chelsea. They are super sexy. Then this really really great hair from truth. The textures are really gorgeous. I haven’t bought truth hair for awhile, but I could not pass up this hair at Uber. The new round starts on the 25th.

I’m going to take a brief second to apologize for this post being so incredibly late. In the last few weeks, I’ve had a lot of doctors appointments. I had an incident a few weeks ago that led me to my surgeons office. I was given some not so great news, and I have been in and out of doctor’s offices. Thankfully, things seem to be slowing down, so I can begin to blog like normal. Thank you to my sponsors for being patient with me at this time. I will say that the warmer months have been helpful in keeping me cheerful. Sometimes it’s the little things. I hope you all find a little bit of summer in second life.

A Day In The Sun

Whew, lets talk about second life for a minute. If you haven’t heard, Linden Lab is working on some stuff, which has been impacting SL. They’re going to be doing maintenance from the 13th to the 16th. And I …like so many others.. have felt the effects. I really wanted to do this photo about three days ago, but I had log in issues, rezzing issues, and things disappearing on me issues. Needless to say, I am very happy to get this post out for the world to see. Please bare with me this month.

So let’s talk about this fabulous summer time inspired photo. I couldn’t do it without some really great designers. So lets begin. My flowers are from lode and my hair is from Beusy. Nate’s shorts are from Noir and available at Fameshed. Finally, lets talk about this awesome pose. Lately, I haven’t been online much. I’ve been dealing with real life quite a bit. Some may have noticed me working on photos or not online. I haven’t really been able to have a lot of free time lately. Hopefully it starts to slow down a bit. I came across this quote, while thinking about having fun online. It really is important to smell the roses, get lost in the rain, and have some fun. It’s delighting in fun that you really start to enjoy life. Fun is definitely something that I need a little more of these days. And who doesn’t need a bit of fun every now and then?

Hopefully I’ll get a little more time inworld and some down time. In the meantime, I will share with you all my haul. So get out there, shop, and bring a friend.

So I wanted to type a quick blog towards the end of the week. There has been so many great events with some really great clothing and furniture. I just had to jump right into it and snap a quick picture of my haul.

I went to three different events for this picture: kinky, collabor88, and FaMESHed. Okay okay, okay, lets talk about this really sexy dress. Eliavah made this hawt number for Fameshed. I don’t want to take this dress off at all. It’s just that good. And the hair.. yes the hair.. omg.. Sigh. I’m kind of in love with it. Lamb made this sultry number and I knew right away that it would pair really nicely with the Eliavah dress. The hair is available at Collabor88 and again.. it’s by Lamb. The mannequin in the background is by Backbone and you can find this naughty piece of decor at Kinky.  The furniture and skybox are from anxiety. It feels incredibly rich and polished. Finally, my quote, I couldn’t resist. I felt hot and sizzling. I agree completely with this quote. I really could go on and on about how sexy this outfit is. There’s a dangerous slit that shows your legs… and even gets a bit cheeky. I’m ready to pursue and seduce in this number. So what are you waiting for? Sparkles and Unicorns

There’s some really great shopping across the grid, but one event that has massively inspired me lately is the fantasy fair. It ends May 5th, so you have some time. To be honest, I had no clue what to do for my next post, and then this fair popped up. It supports a great cause–The American Society–relay for life.

Cancer research has been very important to me. I also know that many others feel that same passion to find a cure. I had a friend once say that she believed everyone knows someone effected by this horrible diagnosis. And I think so too. For me personally, both of my grandmothers passed from lung cancer and a family friend was also taken to soon from lung cancer. So this cause has always been one that personally means a lot to me. Check out the fair, you can help in the fight. If you want something whimsical, please check out the fantasy fair. Your lindens support such an important organization. This beautiful unicorn is by Teegle. It really is gorgeous and a lot of fun to ride. I’ve been having fun riding my unicorn all week. She even inspired my land and decor.

Now, I want to get into the rest of my outfit. My hair is SINTIKIA and it’s called Titania. My lingerie is by The Secret Store–Tabatha Bodysuit. The detailing on the bodysuit is absolutely beautiful. My headband is from the wonderful Dahlia–Emma. The ribbons in the background are from Half Deer and the single ribbons can be individually tinted. I came up with the quote above. I found myself totally obsessing over my unicorn. I mean where else can you say.. well I rode a unicorn all afternoon? Second life of course. And I did!! So this pretend pixie did indeed succumb to its beauty.
