Melting in the Heat

Whew, it is HAWT outside. I truly believe that.. if i could have melted… I probably would have this past week. It seems we are all feeling the heat. The weather totally knocked me out last week. The temperatures lowered. And I feel like a person again…not on fire. This past week, I felt pretty miserable from the heat like so many. Thankfully, in my real life, my animals kept me really great company. I was incredibly lucky to have them. So my pets kind of inspired this picture–chilling with ice cream and my best friend by my side. Animals are awesome like that.

Which leads me to the next topic, the adorable wolf, decor, and fantastic summer clothes, I must talk about it all. There are a TON of items in this picture. As I was writing down all my credits in a notecard, I realized that… I may just need to mention briefly the events. Most of the items featured above are from Collabor88 and the latest round at the Epiphany. I have to say.. I really adore this outfit. I don’t want to take it off. This cute little romper by Aleutia, hair from monso, earrings from Max Gossamer, glasses by fetch are all from Collabor88. My decor comes from so many wonderful companies: Ice cream and inner tube from Dahlia, cat bag and gun from Tentacio, gloves from foxwood, and way too many to list in this paragraph. You really will have to check out my credits down below. I really shopped till I dropped.

As I melted from heat in real life, I really just wanted to be by the beach with an ice cream cone, a water gun.. and may be a furry friend by my side. July has been the month where I haven’t been online much. I am going to have more time, since some things in my real life have slowed down. I had family that had an adoption go through. So I’ve spent some nights talking to family and sharing pictures of the little guy. We’re all thrilled. But now, I can sit down relax and kind of get into the groove of blogging again. This blog post took me a little longer to do. I haven’t felt very well this month, so I’m just now putting out a blog post about pride. I hope that everyone is having a great Pride month. In world, Pride is currently raising money for the Trevor Project. It’s a great cause. It’s so important that you go, donate, and purchase items at this month’s Pride event inworld. The Trevor project helps kids who are in crisis within the LGBTQ community. They do some really great work and I fully support them. So please get out there and donate.

To help me create this great photo, I teleported two great friends of mine that have been steady rocks for me. I’ve gone through a lot with those two people, so it made sense to include them. Christian is rocking the pride cape like the superhero that he is, which is available at Riot’s mainstore. Me, I’m wearing the group gift from Villena, which is available at Kustom9 and Poette (the gorgeous blond to my left.. not right oops) is staying cool in this romper available at Summer Fest.

I want to go into Summer Fest because I spent so much money there. I almost spent over my uber budget. So I have to say, it is a great event. I bought a lot of items. Almost everything you  see in this photo is from summer fest–the house, compass, surf board, and ice cream machine.. right to the sandals by Eliavah. I really can’t rave enough about this event enough. I basically redecorated my house with all new furniture from Summer Fest. So i have to thank the designers for really creating some very special items. I do wish that men had a few more options though. I’d like to go shopping with my guy friends 😀 . But, there are some great pieces of furniture. Also, this outfit includes items from various events including: Cosmopolitan, Good Vibes, and Kustom9. For more info, please read down below.

Finally, I’d like to go into this quote a little bit. I truly believe in this way of thinking. Everyone is significant and important. I’ve heard people say that they didn’t feel important. Sometimes what you give people isn’t money, or stuff–those things are nice. However, the relationships that we form in the course of our life have a way of impacting the other people around us. The love from friends, family, spouses, and even strangers can change a persons world and outlook on life. So you are important… just by existing in this world, you are meaningful, loved, and needed. The LGBTQ community has endured hardships and scrutiny. So it’s important to appreciate how far the world has come, but continue to fight the good fight. And… I also think it’s important to tell everyone that they matter in this world, because you do.

You matter. You’re important. Things will get better.
