So it’s the end of the week and I’m fitting in a really tiny blog. Hair fair, pose fair, and the fetish fair are all coming to a close very soon. So if there’s something that you want, you’ll have to hurry.

I want to talk about a few of the items in this post. The bed and table are part of a set by Astralia and you can find this wonderful set at Uber. My hair is from Iconic and is available at Hair fair. You will have to hurry though, since hair fair ends on the first. So get in there, donate, and get some new wigs. Alisha’s wearing a harness that’s available at the fetish fair. My lingerie is from glitz and available at Collabr88. Finally, this pose.. lets talk about this pose. Cuca Designs created this pose and.. it is so incredibly hot. Pose Fair did an x rated theme.. called after dark. I didn’t feature too many of the scandalous poses, but the pose creators did some fantastic poses. This is one of many of Cuca’s poses that are just too hawt to handle, but done so lovely. So please check out the hair fair, pose fair, and fetish fair. Don’t walk ..run to that exit and get out there ..and shop till you drop.

Summer means happy times and good sunshine. It means going to the beach, going to Disneyland, having fun. Brian Wilson

It feels like ..I have been away forever. I’ve spent a bit of time in real life, getting things a little more organized. As summer quickly approaches, I find myself planning fun activities. After the last few weeks, I need a bit of fun. That feeling of necessary fun has definitely influenced my photos as of late.

Summer is my favorite time of year. I always seem a bit happier. It definitely influences my pictures in second life. The summer months have always meant time with friends and loved ones. It’s also when I take a breather from the world around me and indulge on the best parts of life. For me, it means being outside more. It means parties, food, drinks, and laughter–and definitely making memories.

So I was thrilled to see that Cuca Designs made these two wonderful poses for Pose Fair. The sponge is included with the pose and the phone is also included with the male pose. This wonderful backdrop is by IIlluzion It does have a limited amount of time, so you will have to hurry if you want to pick up these poses. They’re fun and flirty–a bit cheeky. They will be available at the Pose Fair until the 25th–the poses and backdrop. To help me cool off, Eliavah made this wonderful top for Kustom9. It really is an adorable shirt. You can pair it with a skirt, pants, or shorts. There’s so many options, and the textures are beautiful as always. The shorts are from Miss Chelsea. They are super sexy. Then this really really great hair from truth. The textures are really gorgeous. I haven’t bought truth hair for awhile, but I could not pass up this hair at Uber. The new round starts on the 25th.

I’m going to take a brief second to apologize for this post being so incredibly late. In the last few weeks, I’ve had a lot of doctors appointments. I had an incident a few weeks ago that led me to my surgeons office. I was given some not so great news, and I have been in and out of doctor’s offices. Thankfully, things seem to be slowing down, so I can begin to blog like normal. Thank you to my sponsors for being patient with me at this time. I will say that the warmer months have been helpful in keeping me cheerful. Sometimes it’s the little things. I hope you all find a little bit of summer in second life.

New beginnings

And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been. Rainer Maria Rilke

The holidays were a whirl wind. They had the ability to sneak up on me, when I least expected it. Before you know it, I was ordering presents, sending out baked goods (made by someone else of course), and wrapping gifts to place under my tree. I blinked right into a new year. Christmas day was a complete blur. New Year’s was a very welcomed new Beginning.

I usually do a year in review. But last year was one of those years.. I have no problem forgetting. It seemed like if it could go wrong, then it did. I had a close friend of mine tell me recently that not all years will be great. Some will be awesome. Some will be rough. Some will be frustrating.. Some will be.. well you get the point. The only thing you can do is fight like hell for happy moments and make the most of them.

I am working hard in real life and in second life to just be happy at the moment. Taking pictures is part of that process, so ..I really enjoyed taking this picture. And I hope others can see that. A few years ago, I always went out for New Years. I really wanted to portray that party scene with this picture. I couldn’t do that without the latest events, which leads me into my next topic…

The pose fair opened and this round seems to be even better than the last, and my favorite.. collabor88 also opened. A friend of mine has some really fun poses for sale. The poses in the picture are from Cuca@Design and the backdrop is from Illuzion, which are all available at the pose fair. My outfit is from collabor88 and the male in the picture is wearing an outfit from TMD event. ANDDDDD… GENUS. We HAVE to talk about the genus head. If you were part of the beta head, before it hit the store for sale, you get the baby face bento head FOR FREE! You just have to go to redelivery and it will be in the folder, to unpack. Okay before I forget this, I want to make a quick note. Recently.. and bear with me, I watched a Taylor Swift concert on Netflix. Say what you will, about her…but her show was a lot of fun to watch. She talked about having a reputation. And there’s been a lot of discussion about reputations (it’s the name of her stadium tour). A reputation is none of our business. People will say things. Work hard. Ignore it. Your friends will know you. Sometimes you just have to focus on yourself and not worry about what is said about you. Work hard. Be good at what you do. People will love you. People will hate you, but how you feel about yourself is way more important. Her performance was just sort of magical… but I have a thing for dancing and singing. I like a good show. And… can someone please make a gold snake microphone.. kind of love that… Yeah I had to write this article.. because that microphone was awesome. Also, I think it’s always good to have your own experiences with people, before you judge them–but that’s just me. The picture above was inspired by her concert. Oh and… always take anger and put it into something productive♥♥♥ Okay.. now that my thoughts have exploded on this page…. go shopping and buy those awesome things!!

Quick note.. For the best results with the poses, please make sure to take off all huds and turn off all hand controls through the main and the hand hud . The right hand of the pose is suppose to have straight fingers. I tried multiply times with the Firestorm viewer and the only way to get the fingers to straighten was to take off every hud and turn off hand movements. My apologies to Cuca@Designs. I tried turning them off the hand pose through the maitreya hud and the separate hand hud, but it failed. And I did not realize it until the picture was posted.

In the last month, I’ve had nothing but appreciation for the people around me in both worlds. A friend who gives me more time for things inworld, when pain rules the day. A friend that remembers my birthday and does something sweet for me out of the blue inworld. She selflessly gave a gift to a stranger. A friend who dances with me virtually, which brings a smile to my face. Or even a special person that makes me laugh on the hardest of days. Those people … I may not know everything about them and it’s okay not to know everything about them. It’s the kindness in them that I see. I can see their heart and spirit in their being, for me that’s a huge deal. Healing isn’t just medications and physical therapy. Healing can be how we treat one another in times that are hard physically, emotionally, or financially. A smile and helping hand can do so much for someone. Real life brings pain and truly hard days. Grueling days are ahead of me. I will be tested, but it’s nice to log into a space where my spirit is lifted. And this is a thank you and a word of appreciation for all that you do for this stranger. I wouldn’t know what I would do with out you all.

In the spirit of appreciation, I want to share another message. I’ve heard lots of people who don’t give themselves enough credit, thinking they are important. That’s the thing about life, you are important. When you help someone in even the smallest way (opening a door for someone for example), you are important. Your spirit, laughter, friendship, kindness are all important to the world. A person doesn’t have to be bigger than life to be important. Even in a virtual space,, you’re important to others. And also, people will make mistakes, but people are not defined by their mistakes. It’s more important what you do after the mistake was made. We are all on a journey in this life and there will be speed bumps. It’s learning how to ride over them that matters most, and appreciating the people who help you get over those little road blocks.

And one more thing before diving into this month’s shopping. I heard a quote that really hit a chord with me. If you worry about all the bad things, you deny yourself the ability to enjoy all the good things. You miss out on the good that happens around you. It’s really true. Of course, there are going to be bad, awful, and horrible days, but we have to notice the good that surrounds us. For me, it’s the kindness that others have shown me in the past month. My heart would not be as full without you. So thank you to all the friends inworld who have shown me kindness, when I needed it most. ♥

Okay, now I can talk about the fun stuff. Pose Fair is still going on, so if you haven’t picked up some great poses, please head over there. A great friend and creative pose maker created this pose called Thrills pose pack. It’s by Cuca Design. The creator is a dear friend of mine. She just happens to be a really great pose creator. I hope you enjoy her poses, just as much as I do. Next we have my top from Mossu, which I love and adore. It pairs beautifully with the skirt from The Secret Store. The top and skirt are both available at Collabor88. You will have to hurry though, since there’s not much time left. Finally, my boots are a new marketplace release from Utopia@Design. I am a little obsessed with her boots. I can’t lie. I really recommend this designer. The attention to detail is fabulous. The building in the picture is by Nomad and I really really really like this rotunda. It’s probably going to stay up awhile on my land. It was the perfect addition to my creepy graveyard. Finally, lets talk hair, I absolutely love this hair by besom and it’s available at kustom9. I can’t recommend these events enough. I adore them.

The Devil

I’ve wanted to do a picture depicting a fight with pain. It’s something that a lot of people live with every single day and I am part of the group who deals with pain on a daily basis. There are some seriously strong souls in the world who deal with this struggle every single day. It’s not easy.. In my own personal journey, I’ve learned to really look towards those people who struggle like myself or worse with a high amount of respect. They’ve taught me to be a better person and really how to deal with my own evil demons that I fight every day.

In the major arcana, the devil card represents the negative forces that restrain you. It’s the fears, addictions, and impulses in each of us. We have the power to over come them, but the devil controls us–when we allow him to. Much like this card, pain can control our emotions, when we allow it to. We have the power to breath and take a minute for ourselves. We have the power to over come pain by allowing positivity in our life, recognizing the pain but not giving it the power to control our emotions and behaviors. It’s easy to lash out at people, when you’re in pain. It takes strength to walk away, when people upset you, rather then unleashing your anger on the people around you. The people who are around you will ultimately be the ones that you’ll need on your hardest of days. So you can’t let the devil completely beat you, rather you have to fight its power with your own. And I am lucky that medical intervention may be able to help me fight.

I’m lucky in the sense that I have a chance at beating my pain with surgery. I’m bringing this up because I will be scheduling surgery soon. And I will be away from my blog for a little while. I will inform everyone of that information, as soon as it is available to me. But for now, in the evening, I am usually fighting the good fight against it.

In the past few months or so, my own pain has knocked me down. It has stolen my time. It has stolen my emotions. It has stolen me completely. In the above photo, it represents the evil that is pain. And I am fighting it in a losing battle. The thing about chronic pain is that sometimes you don’t beat it. You just call a draw at the point of exhaustion. Then you wake up again and deal with it all over again. It’s draining, frustrating, and infuriating. I do not wish physical pain on my worst enemy. It’s bigger than I am. It blinds me to reason and steals my voice in the haze of medications. I could never put into words the true evil that pain is. It is indeed a fight with the devil.

Every person fights their own demons. This one is mine. It is second life in which that I can artistically create an image that depicts exactly how I feel. That girl is me.. that skeleton is my own hell on Earth. I know that many, many, many people go through there own battles to include pain. In banding together, we lose the empty room and find others just like ourselves. This picture is dedicated to every person with their own demons who fight them every single day. You are not invisible. And… you’re not fighting alone. My picture doesn’t show the people behind me, fighting alongside me. BUT, they are there. Keep fighting the good fight.

Now to help me fight the good fight, some very wonderful designers created some fantastic things. My skeleton is from a previous gacha by clueless. My dress is by Eliavah, which is available at the crystal heart fair. I waited to blog this for a little while because getting into the event was difficult. I really do love this outfit. My stockings are from Blueberry and my boots are available at !Rebel Hope’s mainstore. Finally, my hair is from stealthic, which goes by the awesome name of Sensual. My pose is available at this round of the Pose Fair by Bauhaus Movement. I can not gush enough about Eliavah’s awesome work and Bauhaus Movement’s sick poses. Before I end this, I want people to know that I take drugs in the evening. My pain has increased. So I’m asking everyone to please have patience with me. My thought process is slowed and I’m not always at my best in the evening unfortunately. Thank you.

The Fool

Story… The money, drugs, and jewels, what a fool I was to think that I could stay. But only this fool chose to run away, knowing the chase always has to end.

Hello everyone!! I hope everyone in the States are planning a fun filled fourth of July. Normally, my blog posts are usually a bit quick, but I had to take some time for myself this past week–one to prepare for the holiday and second I needed rest. So I do apologize for my blog coming a little later in the day, than I intended.

This past week has been a wonderful whirl wind of second life for me. I really couldn’t be any more happier than I am right now. I owe that to the people around me. It’s nice to be able to come into this virtual space on a rough day and have your spirit immediately lifted.

Unfortunately, I do want to reiterate that my health hasn’t been perfect, so blogging has not been at the forefront of my brain. I’ve had to take it easy the last few weeks. I’m still making blog posts, but they’re just a little slower than I’d like them to be. We all do what we can.

BUT, the grid has so many wonderful events from uber to famished.. to even rewind. I know this past round of rewind was great. I wan’t able to blog it quick enough, but it’s also an event to explore. Speaking of Uber and Famished….. The blazer, shorts, corset, and even hair come from uber. My sunglasses and rings are available at Fameshed. I really love all of these items together. Together, they help to create something truly special.

When taking this picture, I felt like a drug lord, so I came up with a little blurb with a backstory. I always think that pictures should convey a story or a feeling. It should make you feel something. If pictures don’t give you any sort of feeling, then I haven’t done my job :D.

I had so much fun during that shoot. In the past, I role played a female gangster.. I had a lot of fun with it, so it’s nice to be able to capture something that I portrayed inworld. Second life provides me with an artistic escape into my own thoughts, desires, and playfulness. So this picture means a lot to me.

Continuing on with that role play inspired picture, I picked The Fool from the tarot card deck to represent this particular gangster fueled picture. Even gangsters have to realize that you can’t fool people all the time. In the end, you will be found out and on the run. Yet in the end, running has to end eventually. So I deemed myself a fool on the run with cash and clothes at hand.
