So I normally don’t do a double post, but well I was a bit busy in the month of September. I haven’t really been online much in the last two weeks. But sometimes, you have battles you have to face in life and I am no exception. So I had to step away.. handle my life and come back with new eyes.

The above two photos were again inspired by a series called guild hunter. I am very addicted to it. After many years of not really reading much, I’ve stepped back into eating books. I fell in love with so many of the characters. I will admit those angel characters are seeping through to my sl.

Any way, I digress. Collabor88, Kustom9, and Uber have all been open and running. I highly recommend these three events. They are completely fantastic. I hope you all find something that you really like. I have to make a quick note about my sexy shorts by Eliavah… they are fantastically dirty and I like it. My hot skull heels are by Utopia and perfect for a creepy start to October. I hope you all enjoy these items as much as I do. Truly wonderful pieces.

So it’s the end of the week and I’m fitting in a really tiny blog. Hair fair, pose fair, and the fetish fair are all coming to a close very soon. So if there’s something that you want, you’ll have to hurry.

I want to talk about a few of the items in this post. The bed and table are part of a set by Astralia and you can find this wonderful set at Uber. My hair is from Iconic and is available at Hair fair. You will have to hurry though, since hair fair ends on the first. So get in there, donate, and get some new wigs. Alisha’s wearing a harness that’s available at the fetish fair. My lingerie is from glitz and available at Collabr88. Finally, this pose.. lets talk about this pose. Cuca Designs created this pose and.. it is so incredibly hot. Pose Fair did an x rated theme.. called after dark. I didn’t feature too many of the scandalous poses, but the pose creators did some fantastic poses. This is one of many of Cuca’s poses that are just too hawt to handle, but done so lovely. So please check out the hair fair, pose fair, and fetish fair. Don’t walk ..run to that exit and get out there ..and shop till you drop.

Woman like me

So I’m going to make this blog a little short, since it is really early or late–depending on your perception of things. I will say this picture has me craving pizza like crazy. Thank you baguette for making the perfect virtual pizza. I think there may be a pizza in my future that is for sure.

So, I find myself a bit lonely lately, but that’s only because my schedule is very wacky at the moment. I am alone quite a bit, but I know that it will change soon–thankfully. So feeling that loneliness led me to the Einstein quote. It’s good to remind yourself that being alone is a good thing. Also I find that second life can be feast or famine sometimes. There are times where there is a ton of people to talk to and then.. sometimes the world seems a bit quiet. Feeling that I came across the quote and song (both can be found on flickr).

Moving right along to all those wonderful creations in the above picture. Most of the items in the above pick are from Collabor88 and the epiphany–both close soon. The new round of Collabor88 starts on the 8th and the epiphany closes soon. I will have to get back to you on closing dates, after I wake up :). Before I end with my credits, I know there has been so much tragedy in the US. I’m thinking of the families and the people who were senselessly killed by a shooter with no regard to life. This life is so precious and it’s sad that individuals feel as though they need to selfishly take it away. There is not enough love in the world. There’s not enough respect for life. Despite the tragedies, I will always have faith that things will change.. and one day there will be no mass shootings. Look for further posts in the future for charities to help the survivors. Keep them in your in hearts, thoughts, and prayers. ♥

Summer means happy times and good sunshine. It means going to the beach, going to Disneyland, having fun. Brian Wilson

It feels like ..I have been away forever. I’ve spent a bit of time in real life, getting things a little more organized. As summer quickly approaches, I find myself planning fun activities. After the last few weeks, I need a bit of fun. That feeling of necessary fun has definitely influenced my photos as of late.

Summer is my favorite time of year. I always seem a bit happier. It definitely influences my pictures in second life. The summer months have always meant time with friends and loved ones. It’s also when I take a breather from the world around me and indulge on the best parts of life. For me, it means being outside more. It means parties, food, drinks, and laughter–and definitely making memories.

So I was thrilled to see that Cuca Designs made these two wonderful poses for Pose Fair. The sponge is included with the pose and the phone is also included with the male pose. This wonderful backdrop is by IIlluzion It does have a limited amount of time, so you will have to hurry if you want to pick up these poses. They’re fun and flirty–a bit cheeky. They will be available at the Pose Fair until the 25th–the poses and backdrop.  To help me cool off, Eliavah made this wonderful top for Kustom9. It really is an adorable shirt. You can pair it with a skirt, pants, or shorts. There’s so many options, and the textures are beautiful as always. The shorts are from Miss Chelsea. They are super sexy. Then this really really great hair from truth. The textures are really gorgeous. I haven’t bought truth hair for awhile, but I could not pass up this hair at Uber. The new round starts on the 25th.

I’m going to take a brief second to apologize for this post being so incredibly late. In the last few weeks, I’ve had a lot of doctors appointments. I had an incident a few weeks ago that led me to my surgeons office. I was given some not so great news, and I have been in and out of doctor’s offices. Thankfully, things seem to be slowing down, so I can begin to blog like normal. Thank you to my sponsors for being patient with me at this time. I will say that the warmer months have been helpful in keeping me cheerful. Sometimes it’s the little things. I hope you all find a little bit of summer in second life.

Nope, I didn’t quit. I actually met to write this blog awhile ago. I’ve had a few issues with second life crashing on me and my power has not been great this past week. I actually lost power, trying to take this picture. So seeing it done, I’m truly happy. Hopefully my luck gets a bit better with my next photo :P.

There are a lot of events in this photo, featured above. So lets begin. My dress, hair, and shoes are all from collabor88. My gorgeous dress is by Ison, which I paired with a pair of shoes by Pure Poison. And my hair is by Opale. My bed, bookshelf, and mirror come from Ariskea. The speaker in the background is by mishmish, and the picture of a person outlined is by Fancy Decor, all of these items are available from Collabor88. The curtains, flower frame, cabinet, lamp, and tray with a grapefruit, and book on the table are all available at Uber and it’s by Dust Bunny. I just love decor from Dust Bunny. I always seem to end up buying it. My vanity is from Access and it’s by Build works Decor. The cake is from an event called Spring Flair 2–and from Ariskea. The chair, bunny, rug, stool, and pink vase of flowers all come from Kalopsia, which are available at Fameshed. The tray in the background is by granola, and you can also find this item at Fameshed. The strawberries, and the bag are also available at Fameshed. Whew, I know there’s a lot of new products in this photo. I have bought quite a bit of furniture lately inworld. The quote above is a wonderful reminder that things don’t always last forever. There’s always change in life. Winter comes and goes. There’s the hope of new life and new beginnings in spring. No matter what hardship a person goes through, there’s always solace in change. And for me, I welcome spring, and change. I’m inviting the warm air of spring to grace my sim. It’s time to bring flowers into the world and let go of the cold.

Apocalypse Of The Heart

In my last post, I didn’t write very much. I’ve been a little bit sick in my real life and I’ve been having to sort of take one day at a time. I have to say though.. I do feel a lot better than a few days ago. Sometimes meds can just make a person feel really sick. Enough about me though, lets talk about this back drop.

This backdrop and scene represents exactly how I feel sometimes. Everything is in shambles. All the light in the world turns black and bleak. It becomes this apocalypse of nothingness of the heart. There’s this metaphorical death, when time seems to pass and things change. It can be really sad at times. I also linked a song with a very powerful message of strength.. so when you think that everything is in shambles, just remember you are not alone in the world, and you are much stronger than you think. Just hold on for another day.

It may seem odd to have balloons and confetti, but I have a good reason for the pity party. Sometimes you have to drown in the emotion and feel everything, before you can start to heal. It becomes a pity party. BUT, I think it’s important to let your friends, family, etc pull you out of the sad party of one, giving you a bit of air to breathe. So if you feel the need to wallow, do it. Just remember, there’s more than sadness in all worlds and let people pull you out of the sadness. In my own heartbreak over the years, I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’ve gone through a few lessons too. Yet, I always find the joy in life, eventually.

The thing with an apocalypse is that you can start over. With every death, there is a new beginning–or at least that’s according to my tarot cards. Don’t drown in your sorrow for too long, you may never know what awaits you in the future if you do. I feel the need to end on a light note, because I like a good ending. So you will just have to see a much happier post next time.

Like On Vaca, Lets ALL Go

And I sure do need a little bit of chocolate. It’s that time of year again–chocolates, flowers, and hearts oh my. That’s right, Valentine’s day. is around the corner The grid is alive with events surrounding that special day along with the normal monthly events. And some of them have some amazing and even funny items. You can’t miss Uber, Collabor88, or one of my favorites this month–Cupid Inc.

I want to discuss briefly some of the items in the above photo. The rug game is from Astralia. It’s this really great and playful rug with games, pillows, and animations. It’s also from Cupid Inc. Anxiety made this really cheeky envelope with hair on it called the daunting lover, which is also from Cupid inc. The rose petals are also available at Cupid Inc and the dog house from Half Deer is also available at Cupid Inc..  My outfit is from Uber and by dead dollz. My hair is from doux at their mainstore. I would like to make a quick mention about this hair. The bow is sold separately, as well as the style options. It’s such cute hair. I adore it.

My girl ali is wearing an outfit from Scandalize from Collabor88. The balloons are from nomad, from this past Friday’s Fifty Linden Friday event. My wonderful and fabulous backdrop is from Foxcity. This cute wonderful dog in the dog house is from Collabor88 by black bantom. It is just too cute for words. Whew.. that’s a lot of items.

But, before I go, I want to discuss my picture. It was inspired by Legally Blond. I love that movie. I always thought it was cute and fun. I usually watch movies like that to perk me up and I watch stand up comedy to laugh. I’m always inspired by things that make me smile and/or laugh. Upside down Christmas

 

I like to turn things upside down, to watch pictures and situations from another perspective. Ursus Wehrli

As the year comes to a close, many people find themselves looking back in the past. Maybe sometimes, they even see things with new eyes. And I am no exception. I’ve been looking at things differently too.

I’ve been a little obsessed with pictures that can be flipped upside down and viewed as another picture–in another angle. A long time ago, when I was in grade school, I had a teacher put a picture in front of the class and ask… “What do you see in this picture?” Many of us saw a witch, but many people saw another picture, yet both answers were correct. Even this week, I looked at a rock near a pond, but when the picture was flipped upside down, it didn’t look like a rock near a pond. I also googled upside down Christmas trees (who knew this was an actual thing!). This all started my own little project that I’ve been working on for about a week.

Since I was on a kick about upside down pictures, I decided to create my own. Many may see everything falling towards the ceiling, but yet if you flip it right side up…… You may see a girl leaping through the air and about to jump on ….someone, kicking things out of the way–perhaps a loved one being greeted at the door. It’s all about perspective. It’s how we interpret the world around us that truly matters. It’s how we see situations that happen to us. Our view may be entirely different than how others see things. I think that’s an important part of second life–how we view things that happen to us….vs. how others see things. It truly makes a difference. After a year has passed, we have new eyes and a new perspective on the events that passed.

This past year, I’ve had amazing experiences inworld, but I have battled demons in real life. Life is a beautiful thing, because it is always changing. Second life and real life move in cycles. Meaning… demons will be silenced. Amazing experiences come to an end–and then there are only new beginnings. There will be new people and new opportunities.

Despite the hope of the future though, there’s always the shadow of the past to contend with. It can leave bitterness in its wake. Bitterness can be accompanied with fear. It’s like moving to take a step, but putting your foot right back where it was. Fear can stop you literally in your tracks. Bitterness can make you turn away from new people, opportunities, and experiences. I think that’s one of the  hardest things in life, not letting negative emotions rule you. We all have to find ways to overcome the past. There’s no one right or wrong answer. Everything comes in time. The thing about time is that it’s always moving forward… never backwards. And we all will move forward one way or another, so why not silence that fear and bitterness—replace it with hope. We hope for a better tomorrow, because there are bound to be more good moments ahead of us.

So for 2019, we should leave the fear and bitterness behind us, lets drink to hope and love instead. We should move forward to the days ahead of us, because in the end…. time is precious. Lets not waste it on negative emotions, lets party and celebrate all the good things and hopeful new beginnings.

And that girl in the photo falling and yet leaping for a loved one–both are right. Holidays never go as they are “suppose” to. It always leaves us grasping for more into a free fall, yet we’re always grounded by the people… or even furry little animals that love us. Toast to love and hope this New Years. The best part of any story is always love and hope.

Normally, I don’t post a picture and credits first, BUT I have been a very busy girl in all world. As you can see above, I’ve been busy shopping and decorating (in both worlds!). I debated making this two separate posts. But I took the first picture and then received a few things from one of my sponsors and I wanted to make it a series. And so here we are.

There are a TON of great shopping right now. I’ve been to Kustom9, Tannenbaum, The Arcade, Uber, The epiphany, and black friday shopping.. whew so much shopping. And I did some real life shopping too….my poor wallet. But as you can see, I’ve been super busy planning this photo. This holiday season, you will see warm and cozy posts, featuring some great pieces by creators. They have surely been working super hard and it shows.

I’ve had some worried friends online and I want to assure everyone… I really am okay. I’ve been really busy in both worlds. Managing the holidays and physical therapy is definitely challenging. And I’ve had a few tough days thrown into the mix. Things will calm down soon. I’m sure of it. But I am working hard to create pictures that  I can be proud of.. and I hope that you like them too.

I have included all of my credits, below the photos. I thought this may be a bit easier to navigate due to the amount of items in each picture. My theme for this month with Peace, love, and joy. I encourage all residents to put issues aside, come together, and be friendly. Peace on Earth …good will toward one another is the true essence of the holidays. Lets love one another enough to care about each other. We can not live without the help of each other…and humanity can be a beautiful gorgeous part of life, when we seek the positive out of life. I hope you fill your heart with love and share that love with others this wonderful holiday season

Lazy Morning

I’ve been quiet lately. And I’m a little late blogging this post. But, I had some living to do. It’s important to remember to enjoy moments and taking them in. Today is a snow filled lazy day. So here I am blogging away and enjoying the picturesque ambiance of silence in the snow. I generally hate snow, but I’ll take my lazy day. So like my day, my picture captures a quiet hopeful morning with breakfast in bed. Of course, I could never create such a picture without the help of designers and their amazing creations.

I’m going to jump right into the thick of it and talk about all those lovely events. Collabor88, Uber, Fameshed, and equal10 are all featured in this lovely picture. My hair is from doux which can be found at equal 10. My shirt came from Uber. My boots are from Uber and by Utopia@Design. The bed, 8 tracks, furniture, food items, and dishes are from collabor88. There are also a few food items from Uber as well. My skirt is from collabor88. The nightstand is from Fameshed. I would go into everyone of these items in detail, but real life is sneaking up on me. Generally, my blogs are a little longer, but I have been dealing with lack of sleep. So my pillow beckons me for a nap. BUT, I do like to add a moral or something important in my blogs. With Thanksgiving coming up around the corner, I wanted to again emphasize the importance of enjoying life. Family can be crazy. Friends can be difficult sometimes. BUT, these people in life are so important. It’s important to take a moment and enjoy the season… find something to be thankful for and cherish it. Every season has its beauty. Don’t let it pass you by.
